Alex Xenopoulos brings over 30 years of experience in Life Science and Bioprocessing to the team. His unique skill is combining strong technical capability with a practical business acumen.

 

• Alex is currently the Principal of AlphaX Bio Consulting and has conducted projects in both Europe and the US., working for many years in R&D roles at MilliporeSigma, eventually transitioning to roles in business development.

• Most recently he was Senior Director at Repligen, focusing on strategy and business development.

• Alex has helped companies create strategies, enter new markets, identify partners, and assess M&A opportunities.

• He has been very active in external partnerships, forging collaboration with academic institutes and other biotech companies, resulting in a strong network of contacts across the industry.

• Alex’ most recent experience has been in technology landscaping, execution of M&A and business development deals including due diligence and asset integration post-acquisition.

• Alex has a broad experience across both upstream and downstream aspects of biomanufacturing and process development, including PAT, purification, and cell culture for modalities such as antibodies, vaccines, viral vectors and cell therapies.
