Jane Andrews brings over 30 years of business, life science and cellular therapy experience to the COP team. 

  • Currently Founder and CEO of Cell Bridge Strategies, an international Life Science growth consulting firm conducting business globally including Europe, Israel, Japan and Australia, helping companies target key assets, create strategies, execute tactics, build financial & market models, identify potential partners, create advisory boards, identify funding and/or M&A opportunities.

  • Jane brings knowledge from Assisted Reproduction to NASA special projects, satellite technology, membrane physiology, cellular physiology, flow cytometry, assay development, cryopreservation to the Advanced Therapies.

  • She has owned & built businesses, laboratories, and organizations, and held numerous positions at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Penn State University, The University of New Orleans, and Louisiana State University. 

  • Jane has been an Adjunct & Asst Prof, Sr Scientist at the Audubon Center for Research of Endangered Species, NASA Sr Scientist (Lockheed Martin Space Ops & Science Systems and Applications), Senior Consultant, Frost & Sullivan, and Corp. Exec for a Biotechnology company in San Antonio.

  • Jane lectures nationally and internationally & has earned awards from NASA, NIH & the Smithsonian Institute.

Education

BS, MS & PhD in the Life Sciences from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, followed by a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Penn State University in membrane fluidics/biochemistry using flow cytometry.
