Joseph Gentile brings over 30 years of business experience to Cell One Partners, with a distinguished career as an operating executive, board member, and investor. His expertise spans medical devices, diagnostics, life science tools, and cell therapy platforms and services. Joe began his career in early-stage startups before moving to HP Medical Products Group (now Philips Medical Systems), where he spent a decade in engineering, marketing, and corporate strategy roles. His strategic acumen was further honed during his 14 years at Becton Dickinson, where he held positions in corporate strategy, global business unit general management, and corporate venture investments.
Recently, Joe served as CEO and board member at Cellero Biosciences, which was acquired by Charles River Labs, and at Stemgent Inc, acquired by ReproCell Group of Japan. His leadership in these roles underscores his ability to drive growth and navigate complex business landscapes. As an active angel investor, Joe has invested in companies at the forefront of cell therapy, life science tools, diagnostics, and green technologies. His extensive experience in investment and strategic development significantly contributes to the advancement of innovative therapies and technologies.
