As an associate of Cell One Partners, Sharon Brownlow boasts over 30 years of experience within the bioprocessing industry and brings a strong scientific background with significant CMC and contracting knowledge.

 

• She gained much of this experience specifically in the cell and gene therapy industry, at Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult and at Charles River Laboratories.

• Sharon worked at a successful gene therapy CDMO, supported multiple CGT developers to achieve their own ambitions to establish in-house GMP manufacture,

• She also supported therapy and technology developers plus supply chain companies to establish novel, effective supply chain solutions and with further stakeholders to build an optimum ecosystem to facilitate CGT manufacture at scale.

• Sharon is currently non-executive director of Cytomos Ltd., a UK company with a novel PAT technology in CGT applications.  

• She supports cell and gene therapy companies to navigate the route to commercialization of their therapies and technologies and to raise investment.

• Previously Sharon was chief business officer of the CGT Catapult. During her tenure this technology and manufacturing excellence company grew from 100 to over 400 employees; one facility to five highly successful ones and secured significant funding to further their mission to lower the barriers to deliver cell and gene therapies through innovation.
